On 3rd May 2025, Breakthrough Science Society Tripura Chapter Organised an interactive study class on the book ‘ Why we need a new science movement’ at A D Nagar High School, Agartala. Tilak Chakrabarti and Raju Acharjee conducted this study class.
40 members and activists participated in the study class. Questions on science, scientific outlook, objective and subjective thought process, industrialisation and development of science etc were discussed. 10 members placed their views on these questions. Finally, Dr. Aloke Satpathy (President, BSS Tripura Chapter) and Dr. Tapan Kumar Si (Office secretary, BSS All India Committee) concluded the study class and announced that such classes will be organised later where the remaining questions would be discussed. At the end of the program, a few anti-superstition shows were demonstrated. Positive feedback was received from the participants.
