On World Environment Day, the Davangere chapter of Breakthrough Science Society, in collaboration with Jain Institute of Technology, organized a meaningful event. The main speakers included Dr. Shishupala, Professor of Microbiology at Davangere University and State Advisor of Breakthrough Science Society, delivered a talk on the impact of plastic pollution on the environment. Another speaker, Anand Raj, State Working President of Breakthrough Science Society, discussed action plans to combat plastic pollution. Dr. Santosh Kumar, Organizer of Breakthrough Science Society, delivered the introductory speech, while Manjunath, Convenor of the Davangere chapter, was present on the dais. The program impressed the student audience, who appreciated the society’s activities.
