In Mumbai, National Science Day programs were organized in Utkarsha Mandir school, Malad (W), B R Ambedkar Jr College, Mahim (E) and two coaching centres in Dharavi and Titawala(W). The programs included discussion on the need for cultivating scientific approach, science experiment demonstration and astronomy model show. These were conducted by BSS volunteers of Mumbai. In all, nearly 300 students and 8 teachers participated.
